Objective

This is an important role within the company to ensure that administrative tasks are done accurately, effectively and efficiently. This is so that the management team knows an accurate and timely HR position and that the company is always compliant with all applicable legislation.

Responsibilities & Accountabilities

- Organising, preparing and then managing the tasks to ensure all staff members have the right permissions to work in France: work permits, visas, OFII certificates, and eventual CDS

- Ensuring there is always an accurate up to date log of progress for each person accessible

- Ensuring that all associated paperwork is filed and archived in a logical and ordered manner

- Managing the employment legalities and payment staff for the SARL, which must be done legally, accurately and be recorded appropriately

- Ensuring that we have an accurate and up to date record of hours, holiday, maladie etc. info for all staff that can be given to the payroll providers to drive the payroll process

- Being the primary point of contact for the payroll providers

- Ensuring the payroll information is translated into financial records for company bookkeeping

- Being the main point of contact for providing information to both management and staff about how french employment rules translate into practicalities

- Managing the staff planning software (Planday)

- Perform other administrative tasks that may occur during the year as directed by the finance & business manager

Knowledge and Qualifications

- A proven administrator / Office Manager who has french HR experience

- Attention to detail is critical, as is a desire to get the job completed successfully

- An understanding of the bar / restaurant trade and what drives compliance is desirable

- French language skills are essential

- A career record that shows delivery against targets
