We employ up to 200 overseas, seasonal staff, in addition to a permanent head office team, working all year round to deliver the best product for our clients and support for our employees.


Job Description:


Reporting to the Ski Shop Manager you will assist with the overall smooth running of the Ski Hire Shop. As a Ski Technician you will assist customers with the selection of ski equipment by providing knowledgeable service and promote the quality and sales of our equipment. You will also be responsible for supervising stock control, client records and maintaining ski equipment.


Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:


Customer Focus

  • Represent the company in a professional, well presented manner at all times and in compliance with the company uniform policy
  • Assist guests with the appropriate selection of skis and related equipment, demonstrating, fitting & measuring equipment for customers
  • At the start of season complete all ski/board setup, servicing & maintenance. Ensuring all equipment meets with the company’s high standards
  • Resolve customer complaints in an efficient and timely manner
  • Advise customers on how to care for and use products



  • Carrying out monthly stock takes
  • Complete and catalogue equipment booking in/out logs
  • Ensure weekly admin related to servicing & damages is completed accurately and on time
  • o Greet customers and identify their needs
  • o Bind, wax, and prepare skis for customer use
  • o Maintain the shop, ensure it is clean and tidy at all times with correct branding and promotional material
  • o Be aware and follow best practice regarding payment and exchanges, and store security.



  • o Achieve set targets for sales and customer satisfaction
  • o Follow and adhere to implemented secure cash handling processes
  • Maintain ski/board stock, ensuring all equipment is maintained to the highest standard at all times whilst minimising cost through planning & scheduling replacement parts/equipment

  • Internal: Customers, Ski Shop Manager, Resort Rep, Hotel Manager, Area Manager, General Staff
  • External: Suppliers, property owners, local authorities
