La Taiga - Restaurant Manager

Working with operational management to ensure smooth running of this very busy ski resort restaurant

 

Responsibilities / main duties

  • Serving customers
  • Making sure food is sent from kitchen correctly
  • Training and motivating your staff
  • Taking/managing large bookings
  • Taking stock checks
  • Handling deliveries
  • Dealing with customer complaints
  • cashing up
  • Managing restaurant supervisors
  • Liaising with head chef and bar  managers

 

Personal specification

  • Have previous supervisory/management experience and will be customer focused with a professional and approachable manner.
  • You must be able to multi-task under pressure with conflicting demands and be a confident communicator at all levels.
  • Conversational French preferred, basic French required
