Responsibilities / main duties

  • Deciding the presentation of dishes
  • Managing and training the kitchen staff
  • Orders
  • Stock checks
  • Handling and checking deliveries
  • Creating each day 3 course menu / daily specials
  • To insure cleanliness of the kitchen at all time
  • To help maintain a good margin on food

 

Personal specification

  • At least 2 years experience as a Head Chef
  • A fast pace and a cool head is required. You will receive multiple orders at any one time which can be stressful. You will be expected to keep calm while you send the food out.
  • A responsible personality is required as the reputation of the restaurant depends on him.
  • Must be a good cook, who is genuinely interested in cooking and serving people.
  • Basic French desired but not essential

The package

  • €1700 per month - French contract
  • Accommodation included (no deductions). 
  • Meals included (Apart from day off)
  • Immediate start working until August 31st
