Job Title: Direct Retail Sales Assistant

Reports to: Sales and Marketing Manager

Role Summary

  • Provision of customer service/sales support to current and prospective customers relating to Retail Sales
  • Administrative support to the team
  • Assisting with MPI Call centre

 

Hours

6 month contract, Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm, will involve some weekends

 

Responsibilities

  • Answering telephone and dealing with current and prospective customer queries in a timely and effective manner.
  • Dealing with customer emails, in a timely and effective manner.  Researching answers if required
  • Chasing queries to ensure that they’re followed up on behalf of customer
  • Sending documents by post as required. Posting ski-cards
  • Involved with trade fairs as required
  • Supporting the team on marketing campaigns as required
  • Managing Multi Trip Renewals
  • Any other customer service or administrative duties as required

 

Skills and Experience Required for the Role

  • Must be knowledgeable about Skiing in order to develop relationship with customers
  • A good standard of education with the ability to produce quality emails and letters
  • Excellent communication skills, good customer service approach on the telephone, in writing and in person
  • Proactive, can-do manner, willing to be adaptable with regards to workload
  • Experience in customer service
  • Experience in administration preferable
  • Experience of working in a team environment
  • Good IT skills
