Description

The customer services team is responsible for ensuring all guests receive the highest levels of customer service at all times. Your department will influence the overall standard of customer service in the chalet hotel and ensure that all staff extend a consistent level of service to guests at all times. You will display an enthusiastic and positive attitude, lead by example, and inspire others by adopting a high profile and strongly felt presence with guests and throughout the chalet hotel.

Main Responsibilities

  • To support the local Head of Customer Services as a member of the customer services team
  • Manage reception area and ensure we offer a full range of guest services
  • Maintain a high profile and ensure regular positive contact with guests throughout their stay
  • To perform general reception duties and deal with all guest administration
  • To deal with guest issues, escalating to relevant manager immediately
  • To deal with guests in the event of illness/accident or any health and safety related matter
  • To prepare and maintain notice boards and other guest service literature as may be required
  • To deal with computer input of all flight and hotel room manifests.
  • To participate in and conduct guest transfers to and from the airport as required
  • To provide ski desk services morning and afternoon and/or as required
  • To organise social group skiing for guests according to demand
  • To meet guests at pre-determined lunch stops as required and according to guest demand
  • To assist at ski school meeting point
  • To build and maintain positive relationships with local suppliers
  • To organise lift passes, ski hire and ski school on transfer day
  • To organise and present evening entertainments (in support of bar operation)

Essential Requirements

  • Fluent in the native language of the country of operation (French, German, Italian)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Previous experience desired but not essential
  • UK/EU Passport holder
  • UK National Insurance Number
  • UK bank account
